Cody L. Lewis

DVM

Dr. Lewis was born in Columbia, Missouri and raised in Harrisburg. His family had a beef operation in Randolph county growing up and they had horses, chickens, the occasional pig and plenty of dogs and cats. He worked as a veterinary technician assistant from his senior year in high school, throughout undergrad and into the first two years of veterinary school. His interest in livestock and companion animals led him to pursue an education in Animal Sciences at the University of Missouri-Columbia, continuing on to the College of Veterinary Medicine from which he graduated in 2019. He was a member of many student associations at the college including the Student Chapters of Theriogenology, Equine Practitioners, Bovine Practitioners, Veterinary Dentistry, and Swine Veterinarians.  Dr. Lewis became an Associate Veterinarian at our practice in May 2019.  His professional interests include bovine reproduction, herd health, equine and companion animal dentistry, and hoof care.

Dr. Lewis currently resides in Harrisburg with Angus, his old Heeler/Australian Shepherd cross, and his former barn cat, Kira. Dr. Lewis enjoys deer hunting, fishing, playing guitar, and being an amateur mechanic.
