Owner/DVM
Dr. Stroupe is a Fayette native that graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2012. She started at our practice as an Associate Veterinarian in June 2012 and became Practice Owner in January 2016. She was a 2005 Fayette High School grad, and she completed her pre-veterinary studies at the University of West Florida in Pensacola, FL, where she ran Cross Country and Track for the UWF Argonauts. Dr. Stroupe married her high school sweetheart, Patrick, in 2007. Their “kids” include their beloved dog, Harley, and their cat, Linus. Dr. Stroupe is an active member of many veterinary organizations, including being Vice President of the Missouri Academy of Veterinary Practitioners, Past President of West Central Veterinary Medical Association, Board Member of the Recent Graduate Task Force for the Missouri Veterinary Medical Association, and an active member of the Women’s Veterinary Leadership Initiative. She is also a 4-H volunteer and is a co-instructor of the 4-H Veterinary Sciences course, Vice President of the Fayette Ag Advisory Board, Secretary of the Fayette Chamber of Commerce, and board member of the Fayette Area Community Theater.
Dr. Stroupe lives on a farm outside of Armstrong with her husband and her two sons, Leland and Everett, and their furry friends (a cat named Linus and their Great Pyrenees, Harley). She enjoys running, weight lifting, spending time with her family, and writing vet poetry for veterinary publications. She ran the Boston Marathon in 2014, but now mostly chases her boys around.
